In our Explorama, there are 50 activities that invite you to play around the concepts of creativity and intelligence.

The house is divided by Howard Gardner's eight intelligences. Each intelligence area contains 4-5 activities.

The word intelligence comes from the word intellect, which describes the ability to learn or the ability to solve new tasks without prior knowledge.

Every human being is equipped with multiple intelligences. But we are stronger in some than we are in others. This means that the ways the different intelligences are combined are as varied as the individual human faces and personalities.

Howard Gardner's eight intelligences described briefly:

1. Logical / mathematical intelligence: Makes it easy for you to understand numbers and numerals.

2. Linguistic intelligence: Gives you the ability to understand and express yourself through words and language.

3. Visual / Spatial intelligence: Helps you to understand what you see

4. Bodily / kinesthetic intelligence: If you are good at sports, you have probably a strong kinesthetic intelligence.

5. Musical intelligence: If you are a musical person, you learn best through active listening, background music, rhymes and songs.

6. Interpersonal intelligence: You have a strong interpersonal intelligence, if you're good to understand what’s on others mind.

7. Intra Personnel intelligence: If you are good to listen to yourself, and understand and act on your feelings and thoughts.

8. Naturalistic intelligence: Experiencing nature, contact with animals and visits to science parks stimulate this intelligence.

The theory has since been extended and Howard Gardner today works with 9 intelligences. On 9 Intelligence is the:

9. Existential intelligence: The ability to deal with life's big questions and act in accordance with the existential and spiritual values.
