Here's something for everyone, and you'll definitely get something to take home with you!

Open at weekends and during Danish school holidays. From 1 July 2007 and the next six weeks, the workshop will be open daily.

The Ideas Workshop is a colourful playground where different tools can be used for creating prototypes and models in Plexiglas.

You only have to pay if you print something - i.e. if you want to take your products home with you. The price is DKK 20 per printout (A6).

Laser cutter

The tool used in the Ideas Workshop is a so-called laser cutter.

Using the computer in the Ideas Workshop, you can make the laser cutter produce everything from small cars and jewellery to lamps in countless colours, shapes and sizes.

A laser generates light with three special properties. The light has a certain wavelength and all the light waves move in exactly the same direction and "rhythm". Correctly combined, these three properties create a laser beam of extreme intensity, enabling the laser to cut steel, for instance.
